Pismo Beach is a great for whale watching as numbers of grays and humpback whales show up yearly to feed. December to April are the best months to watch gray whales on their annual migration.
The Humpback Whales arrive here in mid April and stay here in our bay feeding through October and into early November. During October and November, you can see Humpback whales in groups of 2-10 and up to 30-100 whales in the area.
