Local train buffs, modelers, historians and kids of all ages are encouraged to attend this year’s Model Railroad Day celebration. This popular free community event will run from 10am-4pm at the historic Oceano Depot. The San Luis Obispo Model Railroad Association (SLOMRA) will display a wide variety of operating model trains and the entire Depot will be open to display its unique artifacts from Oceano and the adjacent railroad.
